Her dress is made of a patchwork of Spanish silks from the Fallera gowns of Valencia, Spain which I collect when i am there in March. That is the time the tailors have completed the new gowns for the season and hoarders are allowed into the ateliers to snatch up the remnants. It was cheap a few years ago but they are onto me now and the prices have gone up. Not sure when I’ll be allowed back into Spain to continue my hoarding ways, but until then there is lovely Simone wearing a collection of all my favorite fabrics. She looks serious, but in fact she is a lot of FUN once you get to know her. An dof course she is bilingual.
